Matthew Mamet

Hello, I’m Matthew - a software product leader and CxO with over 25 years of experience driving growth and innovation across both startup environments and large-scale businesses. I’ve helped leaders and companies to transform their platforms, build high-performing teams, and achieve sustainable growth.

My career began in startups and entrepreneurial ventures, where I developed a deep understanding of how to build and scale products from the ground up. As President of Embarc, an internet marketing agency, I successfully doubled the company’s revenue and led it to a successful exit. As Co-founder and Head of Product at EditMe.com, I led the design, build, and launch of a SaaS collaboration app, which culminated in a successful exit.

At Pearson Education (NYSE: $PSO), I led Growth at that 100-year old company’s first digital, DTC college readiness business, growing the teenage user base from 0 to 100K.

At PermissionTV, I drove Growth and Demand Gen strategies for a struggling online video platform, and led the rebrand to VisibleGains before the business ultimately wound down.

As my career progressed, I transitioned to high-growth companies, applying my expertise to larger-scale environments. At TripAdvisor ( NASDAQ: $TRIP), I managed product teams totaling 150+ people across the hotel marketplace, growing their metasearch business $100MM and launched a new instant booking feature from $0 to $200Me. Additionally, I spearheaded product partnerships with companies like Microsoft, Yahoo, and US News.

At EverQuote (NASDAQ: $EVER) , an insurance shopping comparison platform, I led the Consumer Product strategy and delivered $200MM incremental to the top line.

As Chief Product Officer at EnergySage, a solar marketplace acq. by Schneider Electric, I guided the company’s evolution from start-up to scale-up. I built and managed a the product and design function, launched two new product verticals, grew the platform to encompass all home electrification, and launched an e-commerce business.

Throughout all those success and failures, I’ve seen and learned a lot. Now, I help leaders in small to mid-sized software companies navigate growth challenges, build high-performing teams, and develop leadership skills that drive long-term success by sharing all the well-honed plays in my playbook.

If you’re ready to take your leadership and business to the next level, let’s work together.  I’m always shooting for  helping you drive a 10x returns on your investment in me. Contact me today for a conversation.
